Identification Requirement A valid, government-issued photo ID is required from all signers at the time of notarization.

Right to Refuse Service Chantry’s Notary reserves the right to refuse service if: 

• Proper identification is not provided.
• The signer appears unwilling, coerced, or unable to sign.
• The document is incomplete, suspicious, or raises concerns about fraud.

Travel Fee Policy Travel fees are separate from notarial fees and are due upon arrival—even if the notarization cannot be completed due to client error, incomplete documents, or cancellation at the time of appointment.

No Guarantee of Document Validity Notarization confirms the identity of the signer and their willingness to sign the document. It does not verify the truthfulness, legality, or accuracy of the document's content.

Remote Online Notarization (RON) Chantry’s Notary does not currently offer remote online notarization services. This may be added in the future in compliance with Texas law.
